CAREER ORIENTED COURSES

Globalization of education and economy has led the University Grants ommission (UGC) to reorient and reshape its policies and programs to make the current Indian Higher Education System more relevant and career-oriented with focus on quality and excellence. The professionally qualified graduates with a sound knowledge of their core disciplines and excellence in concerned skills will have more openings in service, industry and self-employment sectors. Demand and scope for such professionally trained graduates are visible in the applied fields of almost all basic core disciplines and faculties in the current changing global scenario and is likely to increase in the future. After studying the need of local market, our college has started following need based and career oriented courses since June 2006.
1. Certificate course in Functional English

2. Certificate course in Functional Hindi

3. Certificate course in Early Childcare and Education

4. Certificate course in Sericulture

5. Certificate course in Mushroom Cultivation

6. Certificate course in Industrial Quality Control

7. Certificate course in Practical Accounting and Auditing (since June 2007)

8. Certificate course in Information Technology (with Personality Development) (since June 2008)

9. Diploma course in Information Technology (with Personality Development) (since June 2009)

OBJECTIVE

The objective of this scheme is to introduce career and market- oriented, skill enhancing add on courses that have utility for job, self employment and empowerment of the students. At the end of three years, the students will be equipped with a certificate / diploma / advanced diploma in a add on orientation course along with a conventional degree in science / arts / commerce. The institutions should offer a wide range of career orientated subjects in various related areas.
